  • What is a Storywalk? And how do I get one???

Lark Signs Read & Walk Panels are waterproof StoryWalk© signs that flip open to easily change out book pages. Bring children’s storybooks to life outdoors with Read & Walk Panels — durable, weatherproof and UV-Resistant display signs designed for StoryWalk® programs in libraries, nature centers, parks, schools, and community spaces.

  • These full-color and lockable panels allow you to insert standard book pages (no lamination needed) with a simple Swap, Lock & Go system. Made for content that changes often and built for long-term use, they resist UV and weathering while maintaining crisp visuals, vibrant colors and secure protection for educational, literary, and interactive trail signage.

  • Two people on a video call with a bookshelf of Likes Publishing books in the background

In Author-a-Thon Ep. 82, we sit down with Kelley M Likes, children’s author, retired teacher, and publisher at Likes Publishing, to dive into her heartwarming picture book Snout. When Fire Engine No. 74 realizes it’s no longer the fastest rescue truck, it learns that endings can lead to surprisingly new beginnings. Kelley M Likes shares how overcoming a mini-stroke and relearning to write inspired her to create stories that help kids navigate change and resilience. With vivid illustrations, free lesson plans, and storytime videos, Snout gives educators and families practical tools to discuss transitions and personal growth. Whether you’re a teacher, parent, or lifelong reader, this episode reminds you that sometimes a setback is just the start of something beautiful.
