Bring what you've got! No need to email ahead of time.

• You are not obligated to come every time! 

• It's an open invitation for when you can join. 

• We just need to know who you are and when you'd like to join so we can add you to the meeting invite. 

• Emails will be out the day before to remind you.

Critique Breakdown:

Break-out rooms will be assigned with the hopes of no more than six (6) people per group.

1. Hellos: 5-10 minutes

2. Pick a timekeeper (someone to keep track of time)

3. 2-hour time limit (unless the group decides to continue longer)

4. Divide time by the number of participants for a total time per author (around 6 per group)

5. Between 15-20 minutes for you to display your work on your computer. Someone else can (and should) narrate so you can hear how it sounds

6. The reader can critique first, last, or somewhere in the middle

7. Everyone gives feedback, even if not sharing. 

Things they liked, things that need work or might be confusing. If you have something you are looking for in particular, we can help with that as well. Like if you have a rhyming picture book, but something seems off or if you are wondering if you have a strong hook, etc.
