EDITORIAL REVIEW
5 STARS
This is a story about a young girl named Birdie. She loves origami. This time, Birdie comes to the craft store and chooses one particular craft paper for the origami. She plans to make a dragon. She takes her time creating her dragon and to her surprise, the paper dragon comes to life. He calls himself Brynic. Brynic, the paper dragon, begins to tell Birdie his story from a hundred years ago. A story about how a majestic dragon becomes a common craft paper. This book is based on mythology about the dragon tree and I love it. This is a good story that not only entertains children but also gives them the knowledge about the mythology. This book comes with great illustrations and it is interactive. It provides the reader the instructions to fold their origami dragon. I am sure children are going to love this! At the end of the book, the author gives a background story of the myth about the dragon tree which is wonderful. While the children can read the story on their own, for that particular part, I think they need help from an adult to read them. I love to include this book in my curriculum. The students will love the story and enjoy the time to make origami while learning about mythology. Such a perfect book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great story+
Such a fun book, with great illustrations, and it's interactive! Kids can make an origami dragon using the paper and directions provided. I love the way the author gives background on the dragon, tree, and myths associated with it. (The only reason I took away one star is because I'm not a fan of centering all text on the page.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute book
Is beautiful, from the first to the last page, perfectly mixing adventure, the building of new friendships, and the excitement of discovery. Although there were origami instructions in between, it was a hands-on and interactive part of the story, really shown and sprung it to life in a different way. Kelley M Likes and Mary Barrows wrote a world in which children can explore and dream away.
5.0 out of 5 stars Magical Story and Introduction to Origami
The story is enchanting. The illustrations are lovely. There is paper and instructions in the back to fold your own origami dragon. Younger kids will need help.
